this is ken. hi ken.
let's talk about ken, because she inspires me every. single. day.
kenna is one of the most hard-working, driven, and goal-oriented people i have ever met. every time i have a conversation with her, i usually end up with goosebumps or on the verge of tears because i am so proud of everything she has done and because SHE HAS WORKED HER BUTT OFF for everything that supports the life she lives now.
kenna, like me, LOVES fashion. during our senior year of high school, when we weren't talking about how much we loved dogs or the bachelor, our days comprised of talking about our favorite influencers and all the fashions trends at the time. she always supported me from day 1. and i mean this girl PUSHED me to go out and do everything i said that i wanted to. all of my dreams seemed so small in comparison to everyone else's, and they were more far fetched than the jo-bros getting back together....well spoiler alert: the jonas brothers are back, and youre all suckers if you thought i wasnt going to post about it.

and so i made a plan: i was going to open my own shop and i was eventually going to get paid from Instagram.
and let me tell ya, between my mom, siblings, and mean girls from hs, the odds were NOT in my favor. there wasn't much support at first because, similarly to the Kardashians, it was misunderstood. my biggest supporters came from Mckenna and Justin (promise we're getting to you bud), they understood what it meant to have an odd dream that wasn't cookie cutter or, as ive heard, "realistic." they pushed me into exactly where im at now.
and im not saying that im where i want to be, just that im a step closer to it.

when i say justin has always supported, i mean this boy barely knew me and was sending me paragraphs over text that were longer than a text from an angry girl in high school to her boyfriend of 3 months. LLLOONNNNGGG. i was so surprised and taken back that someone who barely knew me was THIS supportive of me. since then i have gone to justin for everything. ~if life is a highway, justin is my GPS~
not only is he supportive of me, he is talented beyond compare himself! i always thought it would be soo hard to become a photographer based out of ohio because lets be real, ohio is not the prettiest 7/12 of the months. but he is an artist, and he can make even me, your average lookin joe, look the best possible. besides that one pic on the beach where im laying down and yah...we dont talk about that....
whenever i have an idea, i usually go to justin first to confirm whether or not it:
1. is good
2. is realistic
3. is ~essential~
4. would make kanye proud and this boy will usually give me so much feedback that its overwhelming.
he doesnt tell me what i want to hear, but what i need to hear which is prioritized at the very top of my fav qualities about justin d benson.
so like whats the point, right?
- recently i got my first pay from posting on instagram. it was nothing, and i mean nothing big at all, but still really exciting!
- i have a shop. i sell to other boutiques and am expanding how i work every. single. day.
aka, i reached my goals
I love everything about what im doing, and even though im not "making enough bread to feed the fam" right now, (someone real life humbled me with that) i am constantly expanding my own self and what i am. i am thankful, like soo thankful, that i have had these 2 incredible people in my life who have supported me endlessly, and have helped me create something that i am proud of. :')
